Costruito da Ernesto Basile nel 1904, il villino porta il nome della moglie dell’architetto. Fu residenza della famiglia Basile fino al 1932. Alla fine della seconda guerra mondiale il villino divenne di proprietà della Regione Siciliana.
Sul prospetto del portale un’iscrizione realizzata con mosaici riporta l’anno di costruzione, 1904, e la frase Dispar et Unum.

Built by Ernesto Basile in 1904, the villa bears the name of the architect’s wife. It was the residence of the Basile family until 1932. At the end of the Second World War the villa became the property of the Sicilian Region.
On the front of the portal an inscription made with mosaics shows the year of construction, 1904, and the Latin phrase Dispar et Unum (Different and Unique).
