Divino Festival 2016 celebrates its 10 years with the tasting of wines from 170 wine producers – This years much awaited festival is on our door step with its ever increasing number of wines to be tasted and, for the last 5 years, Divino Festival has been twinned with Blues, Wine and Soul Festival, making it a winning combination.
Sunday 31st July from 18.30 to 00.00 Tastings in the Cloisters of San Francesco. The Wine Tasting is the culmination of the entire manifestation, it is the Gala evening which places the spotlights on the real protagonists of the event the wines and the other gastronomic products.
Castelbuono Divino over the last 10 years has become the event that the local Castelbuonese look forward to and thanks to its beautiful setting has seen a constant growth. Every evening there will be entertainment aimed at highlighting the commitment and determination of the APB Association who right from the word go have believed in this event. Their president and the creator of the festival, Dario Guarcello, would like to thank and is proud of the support that the local citizens and wine producers from year to year have given and continue to give.
A large number of guests will be arriving in Castelbuono to honour the 10th edition, some to be awarded the Divino prize, amongst them the master chefs, Rubio and Beppe Bigazzi. The number has grown to 170 wine producers confirming there presence for the gala evening event on Sunday 31st. The last 3 years has seen an enormous increase in the number of participants in Divino Festival, both national and international. Some of the most important Italian distributors have become partners in the festival: Vino Libero, Vite nel Vino, Mondo del Vino and Vino & Design. The presence of the international wine producers is thanks to Vino & Design.
